Description for B&B:
Auberge Les Liards is located in the breathtaking Livradois-Forez natural regional park, known as the "balcony of the Livradois." This name holds true as the area offers stunning views of the Auvergne volcano chain from various vantage points. Perched atop an ancient volcano at an altitude of 800m, our guesthouse provides a truly magnificent backdrop and unforgettable sunsets. The Livradois region is characterized by its rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and charming villages. It remains an undiscovered gem, maintaining its authentic and untouched beauty. Visitors can spend an entire day wandering without encountering other tourists, immersing themselves in the tranquility of nature and the allure of the enchanting golden villages.
Our comfortable rooms each come with their own private bathroom. For larger families or groups of friends, we have the option to connect rooms. The guesthouse can easily accommodate up to 16 people. Two rooms are situated on the second floor of the main building, sharing a cozy sitting lounge. The other two rooms are located in a separate building, boasting perfect views of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been renovated using natural and ecological materials, with the newest addition, the Nepal room, exclusively featuring such materials.
Imagine enjoying a delightful breakfast outdoors this summer, relishing in the panoramic views and the melodic symphony of birdsong. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll to visit our adorable animal residents, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, and rabbits, all in the company of majestic peacocks. If desired, dinner can be enjoyed at our guesthouse, with the option of half-board. Our kitchen proudly utilizes locally sourced and often organically grown ingredients, ensuring the freshest and most flavorsome meals. During the summer months, we organize weekend concerts on the terrace (from July 15th to August 20th, on Saturday and Sunday evenings), providing a delightful outdoor entertainment experience, weather permitting.
