For your well-being, come and enjoy a family-friendly vacation at a small price. Our cottage is located near the Chalmazel and Prabouré ski resorts, offering 10 downhill ski tracks, 200km of interconnected cross-country skiing trails, and beautiful snowshoeing hikes. You can also enjoy activities such as dog sledding and snowkiting. There are 5 walking trails available near the cottage, ranging from 1 to 4 hours in duration, allowing you to explore the surrounding area without needing a car.
The cottage is located near the Chalmazel ski resort in the Loire region, offering 10 downhill ski tracks, 100 snow cannons, an acrobatic park, and a well-being center. It is also close to the Nordic ski resorts of Prabouré, Pradeaux, and Supeyres. The cottage is surrounded by forests, providing a green and peaceful setting in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Park. It has been renovated using ecological materials and offers a variety of games and activities for both children and adults.
The cottage is ideal for families, as the interior courtyard and play area are enclosed and secure. Meals can be enjoyed outside, next to the game tables, allowing for easy monitoring of children.
The cottage is conveniently located, being only 15 minutes from Ambert, 50 minutes from the god chair, 40 minutes from Thiers, 1 hour from the volcanic hills and Clermont Ferrand, and 1.5 hours from the spa town of Vichy.
The cottage is south-east facing and offers beautiful views of the mountains of the Livradois-Forez Regional Park. It is a 19th-century farmhouse that has been renovated using ecological materials. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, a wood stove for heating, and a variety of amenities such as board games and a dartboard.
The cottage also offers plenty of outdoor space, including a large games area, a grassy courtyard, and a pergola with wooden tables and chairs. There are also various sports equipment available, such as bicycles, table tennis, and a badminton net.
Please note that linen is not provided, so guests are responsible for bringing their own sheets, towels, and tablecloths.

If you are coming from the D65 Ambert, head towards Bertignat for 11km. Just before reaching the Bertignat sign, take a right turn towards Faye.
If you are coming from Thiers on the 906, continue until you reach the Vertolaye exit. Take a right turn towards Bertignat for 7km. Once you arrive in the village of Bertignat, turn left at the intersection towards Ambert. After passing the Bertignat sign, take a left turn towards Faye.
