Description for B&B:

Our guesthouse is situated at 13 rue Darnel, tucked away behind the theater of Calais. The street is lined with stunning early twentieth-century mansions, and our guesthouse is one of the two houses with semi-detached doors, boasting a Bourgeois appearance with its oeil-de-boeuf in the attic.

Located in the heart of Calais center, our neighborhood lies along the Calais-Nord axis, connected by the bustling rue Royale. A leisurely 16-minute walk will lead you to the vibrant Place d'Armes, where you can find an array of restaurants and shops. From here, you can easily access all of Calais's attractions on foot, including the theater (1 min), the market on the Place Crève-Coeur (9 min), the town hall and its belfry (12 min), and even the beach and the dragon (34 min).

If you're arriving by train, we are conveniently close to three train stations, all reachable within a 15-minute car ride. The Calais-Fréthun train station, which serves the Eurostar and TGV, is only 7.5 km away (13 min by car). The Calais-ville train station and the Fontinettes train station are both within a 12-minute walking distance (5 min by car).

For those who prefer exploring by bike, the VÉLIN bike share loan is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from our guesthouse, right next to the theater.

If you prefer public transportation, you'll be pleased to know that the bus station is right in front of our guesthouse. Calais buses are free, allowing you to easily navigate the city at no cost.

As your hosts, Nathalie, Laurent, their daughters, and their four cats, we extend a warm and friendly welcome to our guests. Upon your arrival, we'll offer you a refreshing or hot beverage of your choice. We strive to provide you with the utmost comfort and are happy to assist you in discovering the many wonders of Calais and the Opal Coast.
