Description for Gite

Welcome to our 3-star gite in the Ardèche region. Situated in the charming hamlet of Le Monteil, overlooking the beautiful Beaume valley, our gite offers a perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. The traditional surroundings and stunning landscapes, coupled with the warm hospitality of the villagers, will surely enchant you.

Originally built in 1490, our historic house has undergone extensive renovations to provide a comfortable and inviting home. The main part of the house serves as our family holiday home, while the rest has been transformed into an independent holiday rental accommodation known as La Magnanerie, a delightful gite that will exceed your expectations.

Ideal for 4 people (with the option of accommodating a baby or toddler), our gite offers modern comforts while maintaining its original stone walls. Spanning over 85 m² across two levels, the ground floor features a spacious living area with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a functional bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms with wash-basins, separated by a landing.

The gite boasts independent access through large French doors leading to a terrace, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors. The pink sandstone tiles throughout the ground floor and first floor are not only practical but also easy to clean. Heating is provided by electric underground heating in the kitchen and lounge, electric convectors in the bedrooms, and a fan heater in the bathroom. Double-glazed doors and windows offer insulation during winter and a cool breeze in summer.

For your convenience, a mechanical ventilation system ensures proper airflow within the gite, with air vents located in the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and bedrooms.

Please note that we do not allow pets in our gite.

Our pricing is as follows: 700 EUR per week during high season (July and August), 470 EUR per week during mid-season (June and September), and 350 EUR per week during low season (October to May). We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking and a 300 EUR deposit upon arrival to cover any potential damage.

The rental price includes electricity and water bills, as well as bed linen, dishcloths, and towels for 4 people. We also provide basic equipment for babies or toddlers free of charge upon request, such as a cot, high chair, pram, and bath. Additional services, such as end-of-stay cleaning for 50 EUR and winter heating for 25 EUR per week, are available at an extra charge.

Parking is available approximately 150m from the gite, but short-term parking for unloading purposes is possible 25m away.
