Welcome to Le Chizé, a charming Bed and Breakfast located in Charente-Maritime, close to the beautiful city of Rochefort-sur-mer. Situated near the entrance of Trizay, between the Abbey and Lake du Bois Fleuri, our guesthouse offers a perfect retreat to enjoy the pleasures of life in this picturesque region.Our accommodation consists of comfortable guest rooms and cottages, providing a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Conveniently located between the vibrant cities of La Rochelle-Ile de Ré and Royan, and with stunning views of Oléron Island, Aix Island, and Isle Madame, our establishment is just a short distance away from the historic town of Saintes.
The Le Chizé farmhouse, situated on a former market garden property spanning 4 hectares, has been lovingly renovated to offer a true Saintongeaise experience. Our friendly staff is always available to guide you towards the best attractions, local specialties, and hidden gems in Charente-Maritime.
With the sun, the sea, the countryside, and the pleasant Charente climate, a delightful stay is guaranteed at our guesthouse, which has been awarded 3 ears by the prestigious gites de France guide. The spacious guest rooms, elegantly furnished in the Louis Philippe style, exude a warm and relaxing ambiance. Each room offers independent access, a comfortable 160 x 200 bed, a private bathroom, and a toilet. Please note that all our guest rooms are non-smoking.
