Description for Gite
These cozy cottages are in excellent condition and provide a comfortable stay. Retaining the charm of past barns, the cottages have been crafted with care using traditional tools, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere nestled in the nearby forest. Each cottage can accommodate up to 12 guests, with an additional 4 extra beds available. The cottages are conveniently located close to each other, making them perfect for larger groups of up to 24 people.
The ground floor features a spacious living room measuring 60 m2, a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances including an oven, hob, extractor, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, and coffee maker. The dining area is furnished with a sturdy table, chairs, and hardwood benches. In the lounge area, there are two comfortable sofa beds that can accommodate 4 extra guests. Guests can relax and enjoy the panoramic view through the south-facing bay window while flipping through various magazines or watching TV. The wood stove not only provides warmth but also offers the mesmerizing spectacle of crackling flames.
On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, a toilet, and a bathroom. Each room features a bunk bed for 2 people and a large double bed for 2 people (except for one of the rooms in the lower cottage, which is equipped with a sofa instead of a bunk bed). Duvets are provided, but guests must bring their own sheets and pillowcases. Alternatively, these can be rented for a fee of 10€ per week per mattress.
Outside, guests can enjoy the beautiful lawn and flowers, dry their laundry, and gather around the picnic table or relax on the deck chairs. There is also a small fish pond and a wooden shack. A barbecue is available for those who enjoy grilling.
Please note that to reach the cottages, guests must drive along a 1.6 km track. Therefore, it is advisable not to bring a car with low clearance.
