Welcome to Edith's Room, a beautiful single room that offers both a Queen Size or Twin Size bed upon request. Upon arrival, you will find an office desk, a wide selection of books, a dresser, a small flat screen television, a DVD player, and your choice of 200 movies. Stay connected with our internet Wi-Fi access.The room provides a wonderful view of the interior courtyard, and you can enjoy your breakfast and relaxation time in the small garden area. Breakfast will be served in your room or in the garden area if the weather permits it. You can choose from a hot drink of coffee, tea, chocolate, or regular milk, accompanied by toasted bread, croissants, butter, yogurts, jam or jelly, and a glass of orange juice.
The shower/bathroom is separate from the room and includes a toilet, a shower, a sink, and a hairdryer. We provide washing and bath towels, as well as body soap/gels and shampoos.
In the cafeteria/lobby area, you will find a cozy and comfortable couch, a variety of magazines, candles to set the mood, a hot water pot, a basket of coffee, tea, nightly herbal tea, and a vintage radio.
The entrance to Edith's Room is located at 103 Avenue Du General Leclerc in Bourg La Reine (92340). The entrance leads to the interior courtyard and is accessible on the first floor via stairs. We are conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the RER B train station through the commercial street of the neighborhood (Rue Rene Rockel).
We are available to receive you from 2 pm to midnight (12 am) and check-out is at noon (12 pm) the following day. All payments should be made upon arrival.
In close proximity to Edith's Room, you will find numerous services such as restaurants (including Hippopotamus, Japanese, Chinese, pizzerias, sandwich spots, fast food, and French traditional restaurants), grocery stores, a laundry mat, a bank, a post office, and hair and beauty salons.
For outdoor relaxation, take a pleasant 10-minute walk from Edith's Room to the beautiful Parc De Sceaux. The park offers activities such as jogging on the athletic running course, enjoying refreshments at the drink and food stand by the castle, taking a leisurely walk in the woods, and visiting the Museum of Oranges (Le Musee de L'Orangerie).
To visit downtown Paris, the RER B train line provides direct connections to various stations. For example, at the Luxembourg station, you can explore the marvelous Garden of Luxembourg and The Pantheon. At the Chatelets Les Halles station, you can visit The Shopping Center Du Forum Des halles. And at the RER St Michel station, enjoy long and relaxing walks along the Seine River and Notre Dame.
If you need to travel to the airports, Edith's Room is conveniently located on the same train line as L'Aeroport d'Orly (The Orly Airport) through Orly Val, only 15 minutes away by getting off at Anthony train station. L'Aeroport Roissy Charles De Gaulle (The C.D.G Airport) is within 45 minutes from Edith's Room.
