Description for B&B:
The Manor, constructed in the 16th century, was commissioned by Robert de Thumery in 1535 during the reign of François I. Its construction was completed in 1550 under Henri II by Claude de Lorraine, the first Duke of Guise. This historic estate served as a favored hunting destination for Henri IV on multiple occasions. A chapel dedicated to St Peter and St Paul was added to the estate in 1679. In 1893, the English industrialist family, the Windsors, made Hermos Manor their family estate. Located just 70 minutes away from Paris, the Manor is nestled in a 12-hectare park adorned with various species of trees. The park offers enchanting views of the walkway and the lake, exuding the tranquil essence of Normandy. The Manor offers two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The "Peony" room features a double bed and two singles, boasting a scenic view of the walkway and the lake. The "Hydrangea" room offers a double bed and a single bed, with a delightful view overlooking the orchard and apple trees.Description for Gite
