Located between Le Mans and Tours, in the picturesque region of Sarthe, "La Thibaud" offers a tranquil and delightful retreat for those seeking to immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of the area.Situated on the outskirts of the enchanting Forest of Bercé, our property provides easy access to numerous scenic footpaths and the renowned long hiking trail, GR36. Guests can take advantage of our 12-acre property to unwind, embark on leisurely strolls, explore the countryside on bicycle, or even enjoy pony trekking. Ample space is available for sunbathing, and there is a designated area for playing bowls. Additionally, we offer convenient parking facilities for motor-homes.
The converted barn consists of a cozy living room furnished with two comfortable sofa beds, a bathroom complete with a shower and toilet, and a charming mezzanine bedroom featuring a double bed – accommodating up to six guests.

By car: Take the A28 Rouen - Le Mans-Tours and exit at N ° 25 and N ° 26 Ecommoy Château du Loir / Le Lude.
For Exit 25: Follow the signs to Lavernat, which will take you through a 7 km forest. At the stop sign, make a left turn and drive through the village. On the right side, take the Route du Ponceau (V8 - Vaas) and continue for 3.5 km. Then, turn right and follow the paved road until you reach your destination.
For Exit 26: Follow the signs to Lavernat and before entering the village, take the Route du Ponceau. Then, follow the directions mentioned above.
By road: Take the E502/N138 and head towards Château du Loir and Lavernat. Then, follow the directions mentioned above.
