The village is renowned for its celebrated artist and Commander Jose Franco, who transformed the land into art by creating a miniature village with mechanized puppets representing various professions and the daily life of old villages.

Within this village, you will also find the Poets House, where thousands of pottery pieces by António Batalha, adorned with written poems, can be discovered.

The house itself is conveniently located near stunning beaches such as Ericeira, Ribeira dIlhas, São Lourenço, Foz do Lizandro, Barril, Calada, Coxos, and more. It is a single-story, independent property with two bedrooms. The comfortable TV living room provides access to a terrace, perfect for enjoying a delightful BBQ while admiring the beautiful sunset. Additionally, there is a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining room, and an office equipped with a computer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. The villa is surrounded by a garden, and guests can also enjoy a 10m by 4m swimming pool, making it an ideal choice for families with children.

The house is conveniently located just 500 meters from the village center, where you will find coffee shops, restaurants, food stores, and a local fruit and vegetable market open on Saturdays and Sundays. Lisbon is easily accessible via the A21 freeway, approximately a 30-minute drive away. The Atlantic Coast is also within reach, offering ideal conditions for surfing, bodyboarding, and windsurfing, with Ribeira dIlhas beach being internationally renowned for its competitions.

For nature enthusiasts, there are ample opportunities for long walks in the surrounding area.
