The Orée des Vignes is situated at the entrance of over 70 hectares of vineyards, offering a refreshing and cozy stay in a spacious mansard-style house that is characteristic of Tours.Located in Saint Georges sur Cher, in the Loir et Cher department, this guest house is conveniently positioned between the renowned Château de Chenonceau and the Zoo de Beauval. It is nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, known for its magnificent châteaux and exquisite gastronomy, including Touraine wines and goat cheese.
Your accommodation will be in the comfortable "Amber" room, which boasts a cozy ambiance and is completely new, air-conditioned, and tranquil. This room can comfortably accommodate up to three people.
From your room, you will have a delightful view of the surrounding vineyards. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of horses or hot air balloons hovering above the house, particularly from April to October.
The property also offers access to a spacious garden, where you can unwind under the shade of the cedar tree after a fulfilling day of exploring the region, or enjoy some outdoor games.
Please note that check-in is between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., but if you require a different arrival time, we can accommodate your request with prior notice. Check-out is before 10:30 a.m.
If you have any dietary restrictions such as gluten or lactose intolerance, we are happy to prepare breakfasts tailored to your specific needs. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and should be requested in advance.

Experience a delightful stay in our charming and newly furnished guesthouse, where comfort and tranquility await you. Each room is thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy atmosphere, ensuring a relaxing retreat.The Salomon room, with a generous space of 15 m², is perfect for one or two guests. It features a comfortable 140 x 200 bed, promising a restful night's sleep.
For a spacious accommodation option, the Amber room offers a total area of 20m², accommodating up to three guests. It boasts an electric bed with dimensions of 2x80x200, along with an additional bed measuring 90/190.
Indulge in the ample space of our Marie-Jeanne room, spanning across 26m². This room can accommodate up to four guests and presents various sleeping arrangements, including a luxurious 160 x 200 bed, a 90/190 bed, and a child's bed. Alternatively, two beds measuring 90/190 are available.
Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail, and a separate toilet. We provide towels and a hairdryer for your convenience.
As you gaze out from your room, you will be treated to picturesque views of the surrounding vineyards. Nature enthusiasts may even catch a glimpse of the magnificent horses or the enchanting hot air balloons floating gracefully above the house, from April to October.

To get to L'Orée des Vignes, follow these travel directions: The property is situated on the Tours - Bourges axis. From the A85 motorway, take exit 11 labeled "Sublaines" and continue towards Vierzon to reach St. Georges sur Cher. As you pass through the village, you will come across an honorable hiding place. At this point, turn onto "Gilbert Michel" street. Afterward, take the second left onto "Saint Vincent" street. Keep in mind that this street is quite long. L'Orée des Vignes can be found just after "Des Vignes" street, on the left side. Look for the penultimate house with a large black iron gate.
