Surrounded by verdant forests that are only 5km away, this property is perfectly positioned to explore a multitude of fascinating tourist sites including Bayeux, Granville, Le Mont-St-Michel, Cherbourg, la cité de la mer, and the untamed countryside of la Hague.With a capacity to accommodate up to 4 guests, Hortensias offers a comfortable and tranquil retreat. The cottage features an inviting entrance, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room adorned with a fireplace, and single beds for a good night's sleep. The serene surroundings are complemented by a beautiful and blossoming garden, creating a peaceful oasis. Additionally, the property boasts a spacious lawn and a recreation area complete with ping-pong, foosball, a swing, and bicycles. A garage, terrace, washing machine, and barbecue are also available for guests' convenience. For larger groups, there are other cottages available on the premises that can accommodate 5 to 6 people.

Très bon séjour
Très bon séjour passé en Basse-Normandie du 07 au 11 mai 2014.
Gite très appréciable, très bien décoré, très confortable et fonctionnel... également très bien situé puisque nous avons pu à la fois profité du calme de la campagne et nous avons pu découvrir et visiter les nombreux sites aux alentours ( plage du débarquement,...)
Accueil très chaleureux, un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

Directions
Upon arrival in CAEN via the highway, follow the middle lane towards CAEN-CENTRE. Avoid taking any roads on the right and continue straight onto the Calix deck, heading towards CAEN and CHERBOURG on the 4-lane road. Keep going straight and take exit No. 37. This will lead you to a first roundabout where you should take the direction towards CAEN-BALLEROY-SAINT-LO. Shortly after, you will encounter a second roundabout where you should take the direction towards SAINT-LO-BALLEROY-LA NORON POTTERY, specifically the D 572 road. Pass by the villages of SUBLES, NORON POTTERY, and VAUBADON. About 2 kilometers after VAUBADON, you will reach a roundabout with a tree in the middle, where you should take the second road on the right towards CERISY FOREST (D 13). Once in CERISY FOREST, make a right turn, then a left before the retirement home, following the direction of SAINT CLAIR ON IT (D 8). After approximately 3 kilometers, make a left turn when you see the sign for SAINT JOHN DE SAVIGNY. Proceed downhill and then return to the village. In the village, take the road on the left, facing the Church, towards COUVAINS. The house is situated around 300 meters from the village on the right.
