Description for B&B:

Queens Escape, located in Martel, France, is a charming bed & breakfast and wedding venue that resides within the historic Château de La Tuilerie. This enchanting castle, constructed in 1820 by a prominent former mayor of Martel, carries a rich history spanning two centuries. Its name, Queens Escape, pays tribute to the Belgian Queen and royal family who sought refuge here during the tumultuous period of World War II. Meanwhile, the king resided in a separate château nearby. Today, Queens Escape continues to offer a serene sanctuary, allowing guests to temporarily disconnect from the fast-paced modern world. Stepping onto the premises feels like a journey back in time, where the vast open spaces provide a much-needed respite for the soul.

The regal theme is tastefully woven throughout the castle, with each guest room named after a remarkable queen. Experience the royal ambiance in rooms such as Margrethe, honoring the Queen of Denmark, Eleanor of Aquitaine, who once ruled both France and England, Catherine the Great, the radiant ruler of Russia, Cleopatra, the legendary Queen of the Nile, and Himiko, the illustrious former ruler of Wa, known today as Japan. Furthermore, we are excitedly preparing the Queen Elizabeth II bridal suite, soon to be unveiled for those seeking a truly majestic experience.

Plan your stay at Queens Escape, and indulge in the captivating allure of this extraordinary destination. For reservations, please visit our website: https://queensescape.com.
