The house's earliest records can be traced back to 1299 in the liève (cadastre) of Estivareilles. Traces of the mill can be found in the Napoleonic cadastral plan of 1826. The mill, which is still in existence, operated until 1930, and a sawmill was later installed to supplement its closure.

Situated at an altitude of 900m, come and rejuvenate in this lush environment.

We offer three guest rooms for rent.

Each rental includes access to a relaxation area and a communal kitchen, equipped with hotplates, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker for your convenience.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, with options ranging from sweet to savory, served in the kitchen area between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. We can accommodate specific timing requests if needed.

The 20m² bedroom comes with a private bathroom and toilet.

Sleep comfortably in a queen size bed (160 x 200mm).

Nous avons été très bien reçu chez perlette dimanche soir et nous avons passé une bonne nuit. Au petit déjeuner les propriétaires étaient à nos petits soins, et nous ont bien gâtés !!! C'est un endroit tranquille, respirable au milieu de la nature. Nous y reviendrons, et au bord de la rivière c'est relaxant !! Bonne continuation à vous deux et au plaisir de vous revoir. The rooms are situated at the foothills of the Forez mountains, approximately 40km away from Saint-Etienne in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. To reach the destination, head towards Saint Bonnet le Chateau and Apinac. The rooms are conveniently located at the outskirts of the village of Merle, specifically in the hamlet of La Plagne.

If you are coming from Le Puy en Velay, follow the route towards La Chaise Dieu, Craponne sur Arzon, Saint Pal de Chalencon, Apinac, and finally Merle.
