Located just 1 km away from the enchanting Fontainebleau Forest, Le Clos du Tertre is a beautifully renovated farmhouse that dates back to before the French Revolution. Situated in close proximity to the charming towns of Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt, as well as two internationally renowned climbing sites, namely "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons," this accommodation offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.On the first floor of Le Clos du Tertre, you will find three cozy bedrooms, each with its own private shower room. Downstairs, there is a spacious 27 m2 room at the disposal of our guests, equipped with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave, providing convenience and comfort during your stay.
Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast and indulge in Table d'Hôtes, both of which are served in our hosts' living room with a panoramic bay window, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. In addition to the farmhouse, your hosts also manage a charming country gite that can accommodate up to four guests, offering additional options for accommodation on the property.
For those who prefer to communicate in English, your hosts are fluent in the language. Parking is available on-site for your convenience. We kindly inform you that pets are not accepted at Le Clos du Tertre.

Located just 1 km away from the stunning Fontainebleau Forest, "Le Gîte Clos du Tertre" is a charming accommodation option. Situated in a beautifully renovated farmhouse that dates back to before the French Revolution, this gite is attached to the landlord's house, where they also run three bed and breakfast rooms.With its close proximity to the famous climbing sites of "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons," this gite is a paradise for climbers from all over the world.
Inside the gite, you will find a cozy living-dining room complete with a fireplace and a television for your entertainment. The fully equipped American kitchen ensures that you have everything you need to prepare your own meals.
The gite offers two comfortable bedrooms and a convenient shower room with a toilet.
Your hosts are fluent in English, making communication easy and hassle-free. Additionally, there is a private car park available for guests.
Please note that pets are not allowed in this gite.

To get to the destination which is 12 km South-West of Fontainebleau, you have several options for transportation:
By car:
1. If you are coming from the A6 Motorway, take Exit N°14 labeled "Ury - Malesherbes". Turn right onto N152 towards Orléans. Drive for approximately 3 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
2. If you are starting from Fontainebleau, go to the "Obélisque round-about" and take the N152 road towards Orléans. Continue driving for about 12 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
Once you are in La Chapelle la Reine, at the second traffic light on N152 (driving towards Orléans), make a left turn onto D16 road towards "Nemours-Larchant". Then, take the second road on the left. The destination, Le Clos du Tertre, is located at N°6 on "Chemin des Vallées".
By train:
The nearest train station is Saint-Pierre les Nemours, which is 12 km away. Your hosts may be able to provide transportation from this train station. Another option is the Fontainebleau Train Station, which is 15 km away.
By air:
