Description for B&B:

This XVIIIth century "bastide" is a charming house located in a spacious garden with a swimming pool, kiosk, and fish pond. The house offers three themed rooms, each filled with artifacts from various trips. The "la Route de la Soie" room will transport you to the Indian subcontinent, the "la Route du Cacao" room has an African setting, and the "la Route des Bastides" room embodies the Provencal style.

Situated on the border of Provence and Languedoc, the house is facing the renowned wineyards and cellars of Chateauneuf du Pape. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the vibrant city of Avignon and its famous festival, as well as Orange and its "chorégies" events. Additionally, Uzès is only 20 minutes away, and Nîmes can be reached within 30 minutes. For those interested in kayaking and canyoning, the canyons of the Ardèche and Cèze rivers are just a 30-minute drive away. The Marseille and Montpellier airports are both approximately one hour away, while the TGV train station is just 15 minutes from the house.

Our house is ideally situated to explore all the tourist attractions and cultural events in the region, while still providing a peaceful retreat in a charming southern village.

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the hostess in French, English, Spanish, or Italian, and offered a refreshing cup of tea or a delightful glass of wine, depending on the time of day.

We are delighted to have you as our guest and are available to assist you in making the most of your stay. We can provide valuable advice and information regarding ongoing activities and events in the area.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for both you and us, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:

1) Check-in is available from 4:00 PM onwards. Please notify us if you will be arriving late.

2) Our house is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is permitted in the garden, while respecting the plants.

3) Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

4) Your room will be prepared prior to your arrival, and we will not enter it during your stay in order to respect your privacy. However, if you require additional cleaning during your stay, there will be an additional fee of €20. For stays longer than a week, housekeeping is provided free of charge during the middle of your stay.

5) Breakfast is served between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM either in the garden or in front of the fireplace in case of bad weather. If you prefer an earlier breakfast time, please let us know.

6) The swimming pool is available for your use from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and you are responsible for your own safety.

For the "Road of Spices" room, you will be transported to Rajasthan. This particular room is located in the old cellars, providing a cool escape during the summer months. It is decorated in warm tones inspired by the Indian subcontinent. The room features a comfortable 160 bed, a small seating area, wifi, TV, a small refrigerator, and a private bathroom and toilet. You will have direct access to the shaded courtyard, where breakfast is served under the linden tree during the summer or by the fireplace during winter.
