Directions

From Paris:

To get to "Chinon" from Paris, exit the A10 motorway at exit 24, which is located south of Tours. From there, follow the toll-free A85 motorway and then D751 towards "Chinon". When you reach AZAY LE RIDEAU, you will come across a large roundabout with a Carrefour supermarket on the left. Take the exit towards Azay center and continue straight. Cross the center and the Indre river, and after approximately 500 meters, you will enter "La Chapelle Saint Blaise", which is actually the main part of Cheillé. Once there, turn right onto D17 towards Cheillé - église and Rivarennes. After driving for 2 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating "chambres d'hôtes Le Vaujoint, Les Ecureuils, and la grange bleu". Turn left at this sign and go up the hill. Please note that the first set of holiday cottages on the left are not the correct ones. Continue driving for another 200 meters. The Ecureuils is located at the junction of two roads within the hamlet. The parking area is on the right side of the house.

By train:

If you are taking the train, the Azay le Rideau train station is 6 kilometers away, while Tours is 30 kilometers away (accessible via the motorway).
