Nestled by the picturesque Saleix stream, the location of the cottage ensures a pleasant and refreshing atmosphere, especially during the midsummer heat. The soothing sound of the flowing stream adds to the tranquility, allowing you to leave behind the hustle and bustle of daily life and truly relax during your vacation.

Although there are ample car parks near the house, the cottage can be easily accessed by taking a short walk through the historic district, known as "Le Barri," which derives its name from the former fortifications that surrounded this part of the town. The absence of cars in the immediate vicinity makes this cottage particularly suitable for families with children or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

Numerous activities are within close proximity to the lodge. The village is renowned for being the starting point of numerous hiking routes, including the prestigious GR10 trail. This trail spans across France, stretching from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean coast, following the breathtaking Pyrenees mountain range. Description for Gite

On the first floor of this charming gite, you will discover a cozy living room complete with a television. Additionally, on this level, you will find the first single bedroom which offers picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and the tranquil stream that flows in front of the house.

Ascending the stairs to the second floor, you will find another single bedroom. The shower and bathroom are conveniently located adjacent to this room.

At the front of the house, you will be greeted by a delightful double bedroom featuring a balcony that provides a breathtaking view of the valley, as well as the rolling hills and majestic mountains that encircle it.

Just outside the house, a terrace awaits you, equipped with a table, bench, parasol, and barbecue. Its easy accessibility from the house makes it an ideal spot for al fresco dining. The soothing sounds of the adjacent creek and the refreshing breeze create a perfect ambiance for relaxation and a sanctuary from the summer heat.

A short climb up the steps next to the house will lead you to the forest trails, offering numerous possibilities for scenic walks in the valley.
