This spacious house, dating back to the end of the 19th century, was previously a Benedictine living. Since June 2007, it has been transformed into a charming guesthouse, offering five beautifully decorated guest rooms.Ideally located in the heart of the historical neighborhood, just below the saint Agnan bell tower, this idyllic dwelling offers breathtaking views of the Loire river and the Sancerrois mounts from its wide-ranging garden. Guests staying on the first floor have direct access to the garden, creating a seamless connection with nature.
Exploring the town is made easy, as there are many nearby restaurants where guests can enjoy delicious meals. Each bedroom is uniquely furnished, creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere. All rooms feature a king-size bed, as well as a private bathroom and toilet.
Guests are invited to relax and unwind in the sitting room and library, located in the heart of the house. When the weather allows, breakfast is served in the garden, providing a delightful start to the day.
The fifth room, known as the "bellfry room," is a quiet and private retreat, nestled at the bottom of the bell tower. It has its own access to the garden and a large vaulted bathroom with a luxurious balneotub. From May to September, guests can also enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool.
Overall, this historic guesthouse offers a tranquil and enchanting experience, combining comfort, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality.
