Our hostel, Belvédère de Mallet, is situated in the charming town of Fridefont in the Cantal region of Auvergne. Our rooms offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Grandval Dam reservoir, as well as access to our dining room and terrace.All of our rooms feature private bathrooms with televisions, and we even have two family rooms that include a small private lounge. Upon request, we also provide free WiFi connection.
The Cantal region, known for its beautiful mountains and water, offers a variety of activities for our guests. You can enjoy hiking, water sports at the nearby sailing base (only 3 km away), relax on the equipped beach just 500 meters away, or go fishing from the pier located within the same distance. Additionally, there are museums to explore and our restaurant provides a tranquil setting with panoramic views of Lake Mallet for a peaceful meal break.
Located between Garabit and Chaudes Aigues, our guests can also take advantage of the nearby spa for a rejuvenating experience.
We strive to cater to all our guests' needs, including providing a cot for babies upon request, parking facilities, and accepting pets. Furthermore, children under 3 years old stay free, and we offer reduced rates for families with children under 12 years old.
