This charming 18th century farmhouse in Normandy has been beautifully restored and offers three guest rooms (two double and one twin), each with their own private bathrooms. The maximum capacity is six guests.

Guests have access to a cozy sitting room/library, as well as terraces and gardens equipped with tables and chairs by a peaceful small lake.

Our farmhouse is located in the village of Ancinnes, nestled close to the enchanting Forest of Perseigne. This area is perfect for exploration by car, on foot, or by bike.

There are excellent dining options nearby in Neufchatel en Saosnois and Alençon (6-8km away), and major shopping centers are just a short 10-minute drive.

Situated on the border of Normandy and the Sarthe (Pays de Loire), we are conveniently located 10 minutes from Alençon and the A28 highway, 30 minutes north of Le Mans, and 1 hour south of Rouen.

Alençon is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding regions, such as the Alpes Mancelles to the west, the Orne and Pays d'Auge to the north, the Saösnois, Marollais, and the Perche park to the east, and Pays de la Loire to the south.

There are numerous gardens and sights to visit in the area, including the Château de Carrouges, Alpes Mancelles, the medieval City Plantagenet in Le Mans, the 24 Hours Race Car Museum, Ballon gardens and castle, Château de Sassy, Lassay les Châteaux, Château Ô & Médavy, Vendeuvre Château, Logis du Moullins, St Céneri-le-Gérei, Sées Cathedral, Camembert, Domfront, Haras du Pin stud farm, Manoir de Couesme, and Saulges Caves.

Very reasonable rates, beautiful house and garden. Rooms are spacious and very, very clean. Great shower. Our hosts Jude and Phil provide a continental breakfast. Free parking. All you can hear in the garden are birds and frogs. Beautiful! Highly recommended.

Directions

To reach Ancinnes, you can start from either Alençon town or the A28 Exit 19. If starting from Alençon town, follow the signs towards St Paterne or Champfleur and then take the D19 road to Ancinnes. The journey will take approximately 5-10 minutes, covering a distance of 8km.
