Our charming cottage comfortably accommodates up to 4 people and is situated in a peaceful setting within a small hamlet in the south Vendee region. The cottage has been lovingly restored to its original appearance, showcasing exposed local stone walls, wooden beams, and wooden floors on the ground level. Furnished with tasteful antique French country style furniture, it offers both comfort and elegance.The ground floor features a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace, a kitchen and dining area, a bathroom, a separate washroom, a utility room, and a double bedroom with an en suite shower room (with a 1.60m wide bed). Upstairs, there is another double bedroom (with a 1.40m wide bed) and a mezzanine bedroom with two beds (each 1.20m wide).
The cottage is equipped with various amenities including a satellite TV with English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian channels, a French TV, two DVD players, a VCR, a telephone, games, DVDs, video cassettes, and free Wi-Fi internet access. The fully fitted kitchen boasts modern facilities and is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, utensils, a kettle, a dishwasher, ceramic hobs, a microwave oven, a full oven, a fridge, a freezer, and a washing machine.
To enhance your relaxation and enjoyment, the cottage offers a private garden, a stone patio with comfortable garden furniture, a spacious outdoor dining area with a purpose-built chimney-barbecue, and another private garden space. Bathroom towels, house linen, and bed linen are provided, and the beds are made prior to your arrival. Upon request, we can also provide a cot, highchair, and baby bath for your convenience.
