Description for B&B:
Located in the western Loire, just south of Normandy, the château de Mirvault is nestled in a picturesque park surrounded by fields and copses. As you make your way down the tree lined drive, keep an eye out for red squirrels and rabbits, a common sight in this serene environment. The property sits beside the tranquil Mayenne river, offering easy access to a nearby barrage, perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Additionally, we provide a boat for leisurely trips along the river, passing through charming locks. The château, which has been in our family since the 16th century, exudes a sense of contentment and historical continuity. Conveniently located near major channel ports, we are a mere kilometer away from the old town of Château-gontier, 20 kilometers from Laval, 45 minutes from Angers, and an hour from the renowned racing circuit at Le Mans and the magnificent Loire châteaux. For those traveling from Paris, our location is just three hours away.Reviews
