Description for Gite
Experience the ultimate family holiday by staying in your very own wing of a magnificent castle. This spacious holiday house (144 m²) boasts its own independent entrance and can comfortably accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms. If you require additional rooms, two more can be found on the second floor of the castle, allowing for a total capacity of 10 people. Don't hesitate to inquire about the possibilities.On the ground floor, you will find a stunning 57m² living room with granite tiles and exposed beams, offering a magnificent view of the moat. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen complete with a fridge, freezer, oven, electric cooking, microwave, and dishwasher.
A shared staircase leads you to the first floor, where you will discover your private hall connecting two spacious rooms (1100 & 1350) that are conveniently located side by side. These rooms offer breathtaking views of the moats and the vineyard, ensuring total privacy in this dedicated section of the castle. The first room is a very large bedroom featuring a double bed, with a small step leading to the Castle tower where you'll find a luxurious private bathroom equipped with a freestanding bath, large separate shower, and toilet. The second bedroom also boasts a luxurious adjoining bathroom with a shower and toilet.
This exceptional accommodation offers a living space of 144m² and an entire floor dedicated to your comfort. Enjoy the stunning dual aspect views overlooking the moat and the vineyard, stay connected with free WIFI, and entertain yourselves with an Xbox. Baby beds are available upon request. The gite also provides two private bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath, separate shower, and toilet, and the other with a shower and toilet. The capacity of the gite is suitable for 4 people, plus infants up to 2 years old.
Now, let's delve into the detailed description of the bedrooms. Room 1100 pays homage to the Château's rich history, as it represents the very beginning of this unique establishment, with its foundations dating back to the 11th century. This charming 24m² room offers delightful views of the moat, winery, and vineyard. Relax in the cozy sitting area by the window, savoring our exquisite Château wine accompanied by a cheese platter. A small step will lead you to the Château tower, where you'll discover your luxurious private bathroom (18m²) featuring a free-standing bath, large separate shower, and toilet.
Room 1350 is named after the Boux family, the first inhabitants of the Château, who resided here for an impressive 110 years. This 18m² room offers a wonderful view over the moat, allowing you to enjoy the early morning tranquility from the comfort of an armchair, while observing the diverse birdlife on the water.
A deposit of 200 is required upon arrival, which will be fully refunded at the end of your stay (cash or cheque accepted). The rental includes bed linen and basic kitchen and toilet essentials. The beds will be made upon your arrival, but kindly bring your own towels. Before check-out, we kindly request that you leave the gite in a clean condition, and we will take care of the rest.
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the Chateau, however, it is allowed outside. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, with the exception of horses (please see our "take your horse to the Chateau" option).
