Saint-Savournin is a charming French commune situated in the department of Bouches-du-Rhone, within the picturesque region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. With a population of 3,151 inhabitants as of 2009, Saint-Savournin is nestled at the eastern edge of the majestic Massif de l'Etoile, between the towns of Cadolive and Mimet. The locals of this idyllic village are known as Saint-Savournicains and Saint-Savournicaines.The climate of Saint-Savournin is greatly influenced by its geographical location. Perched on the northern slope of the Étoile massif, the village enjoys a relatively high average altitude of over 440 meters. Consequently, Saint-Savournin stands apart from neighboring towns in the region due to its more severe climate. Afternoon temperatures here often dip below 3 to 5 °C compared to Aix-en-Provence or Marseille.
The commune is in close proximity to the renowned Calanques National Park, located just 14 km away. The cottage, situated beneath the owners' residence, offers an independent entrance and private parking. It features a charming terrace and a secluded relaxation area for your exclusive use. This 30m2 cottage is designed to comfortably accommodate 4 to 5 people and comes fully equipped and furnished. Its amenities include a living room-kitchen with a 160 sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a bedroom with two single beds (90 * 200) and an additional single bed.For your entertainment, the cottage provides access to Canal+ TV and WiFi, along with convenient appliances such as a dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels are also provided.
Additionally, the property offers a secure access to a shared swimming pool (seasonally heated) and a petanque ground.
Benefiting from its prime location, you can easily reach Cassis, Marseille, Aubagne, and Marseille within just 25 minutes. St Savournin, located on the GR 2013, allows for numerous hiking opportunities, including renowned destinations like the creeks of Cassis, the Ste Victoire massif, the Star massif, and the Sainte Baume massif.

Travel Directions from Marseille:
1. Take Highway A7, then A51 towards Marseille Aix. Take exit 2 for Bouc Bel air and Gardanne.
2. Follow the D6 expressway and take the Biver-Ouest exit.
3. On the bridge, turn right and then left towards Biver and Mimet. At the stop, turn right onto the D58A.
4. Continue straight through Biver.
5. At the roundabout (Statue Ste Barbe), take the second exit on the right towards Mimet (uphill).
6. At the large roundabout, turn left towards Mimet and Gréasque (uphill towards the Giant).
7. Pass through Mimet and continue towards Saint Savournin.
8. Upon entering St Savournin, after the shopping center, there is a car park next to the playground (this is the "13 en promenade" meeting point).
9. Upon exiting the village, after the pharmacy, take a left onto the D8 towards the Valentine, Bouilladisse. Continue for 200m.
10. Turn right at a bend indicated by a sign saying "Le Collet blanc" (opposite the bus shelter).
11. After 100m, turn right again (sign for Chemin de la Poussaraque) and immediately take a left alongside a series of small garages. Then, follow the path down to Poussaraque. We are located at 240 on the right side, just after the entrance of a subdivision.
