Description for Gite
ABOUTOnce abandoned for years, this place was once the sanctuary of a skilled seamstress. Just like many of us had a grandmother or an aunt who would spend hours sewing, "Couturette" became the embodiment of my childhood dreams. It is the workshop where I would have loved to spend my time, exploring and uncovering secrets. Have you ever played with your grandmother's enchanting button collection?
Close your eyes and let yourself be transported by the scent of vintage lace and the delicate touch of light muslin fabrics. Imagine, in the stillness of the night, the mannequins awakening to come to life, offering a magical spectacle. The hum of sewing machines, the snip of cutting scissors, all presented in a timeless black and white aesthetic reminiscent of the great Chanel.
