Located just 2 km from the picturesque village of Salignac-Eyvigues, this magnificent property offers a lively market square, grocery shops, and excellent restaurants. Situated only 15 minutes from Sarlat la Canéda and the world-famous Lascaux caves, our manor house is perfectly positioned for exploring the best sites and attractions in the stunning Perigord Noir region.With a large heated outdoor pool, sauna, and six double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and air conditioning, Les Charmes de Carlucet can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests. The 70m2 living/dining room and professional kitchen provide ample space for relaxation and entertainment. Classified as a 5-star property by the Dordogne tourist board, the manor house can be reserved on a Bed and Breakfast basis or as a large private holiday home.
Adjacent to the manor house is another luxury property, Beaux Reves, a 3-bedroom villa also classified as 5-star. With a private pool, it can accommodate an additional 7 guests, allowing us to accommodate a total of 21 people. Families, couples, and groups of friends all love Les Charmes de Carlucet for its tranquil and peaceful setting. The breathtaking views, combined with the property's ideal location, make it a perfect base for exploring the Dordogne and Vezere valley, canoeing, visiting prehistoric caves, admiring stunning chateaux, and exploring the medieval towns of Sarlat, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, and Domme.
For cycling enthusiasts, we offer direct access to some of the most spectacular routes in the Dordogne region. Just outside our front door, you'll find a network of beautiful bike routes suitable for all abilities. We can arrange bike rental for you from Les Charmes. Overlooking the historic hamlet of Carlucet, with its impressive 11th-century Church, our property offers peace, tranquility, and comfort in one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of France.
The Manor house has undergone extensive renovations, including new bathrooms, beautiful stone floors throughout the ground floor, and a newly decorated living/dining area with a stunning stone fireplace. The entire property is tastefully furnished to ensure your stay is comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.
Just 400 meters from the Manor house, you'll find The Black Duck, a charming Irish/French Pub/Restaurant serving lunch, dinner, and refreshing Guinness on tap. The outside terrace offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. We also have other fine restaurants just a short drive away, and many more to explore in Sarlat.
As a British/Swedish couple living nearby, we are available to provide advice and recommendations on places to visit. We can also make reservations for you and arrange deliveries of fresh croissants and bread from the local boulangerie. If desired, we can even provide a fantastic French chef to prepare and serve meals in the Manor house when you reserve on a self-catered basis.
