The Old Bakery is located on the outskirts of the charming Breton village of Langourla, surrounded by one acre of beautiful grounds. Just a short 15-minute drive away is the medieval town of Jugon les Lacs. The main house boasts 4 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all with private facilities. Additionally, there is a fully equipped 2-bedroom Gite/Cottage available for longer stays. Upon your arrival, we offer a complimentary welcome drink to help you settle in.For those who prefer to dine in, we provide a variety of menus for traditional, relaxed evening dining. We kindly ask for 24 hours notice to ensure we can procure the finest local ingredients for your table. Gourmet breaks can be booked for a minimum of 4 guests, offering the ultimate stay and dining experience. Wine, beer, and cider are also available for purchase.
If you plan on going on day trips, we can supply a packed lunch with 24 hours notice. Langourla is a peaceful village with its own lake, nestled in rolling countryside and surrounded by nearby woodlands. The village offers essential shops, 2 bars, and a beautiful church, creating the perfect setting for your holiday.
Langourla is conveniently located just 1 hour by car from St Malo, 40 minutes from Rennes Airport, and 35 minutes from the stunning sandy beaches and harbours of Baie de St Brieuc. It serves as an ideal base for exploring Cotes dArmor, Ille et Vilaine, and Morbihan. Within a few kilometers, you can experience the breathtaking coastline from Val-Andre to Cap Fréhel, transitioning from vast sandy beaches to rugged cliffs.
The area also offers numerous lakes where you can enjoy fishing, boating, and bird watching. There are various walking trails suitable for all levels of hikers, from short strolls to more challenging routes for enthusiasts. Cycling is also a popular activity in the region.
Langourla hosts an annual Jazz Festival by the lake during the summer months, and the nearby medieval town of Montcontour holds a bi-annual medieval fete.
Description for Gite
'The Cottage is a charming self-catering accommodation located next to the main house, offering everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay. This lovely Gite can comfortably accommodate up to four people in its two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double bed. Upstairs, there is a toilet, while downstairs you will find a toilet and a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, and washing machine.The sitting area is thoughtfully furnished to provide a relaxing and restful atmosphere, complete with a TV and Satellite for your entertainment. In addition, private parking is available, and there is a BBQ area for you to enjoy outdoor dining. We also provide all bed linen and towels for your convenience.

Directions to La Vieille Boulangerie:
From the port at St Malo, follow the signs for Toutes Directions, heading towards Rennes. Continue on the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan. Continue on this road until you pass Dinan, then take the exit for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766. After about 1-2 kilometers, the road will become the D793. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).
From Dinard Airport, take the D766, which will merge onto the N176. Join the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan. Stay on this road until you pass Dinan, then take the exit for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766. After about 1-2 kilometers, the road will become the D793. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).
Once you arrive in Broons, continue straight through the center and bear left after the church towards Ereac (D793). In Ereac, take the second exit at the roundabout as you enter the village, heading on the D46 towards Langourla. You will see La Poste on your right and the Pharmacie on your left.
After about 4 kilometers, you will see a small concrete signpost on the left side of the road pointing right to Rouillac. Ignore this and continue. Almost immediately after, you will see another signpost on the right side of the road pointing left to Langourla. Take this road and follow it to the crossroads in the village. You will see a big church on your right, a shop, and a bar/tabac in front. Go straight over the crossroads, passing the closed pink Boulangerie on the left. La Vieille Boulangerie is located about 300 meters further on, on the right.
If you miss the small concrete signpost, continue until you reach a right-hand bend. Turn left here, and after a short distance, you will see the big church on your left. Turn right by the shop and bar/tabac, and La Vieille Boulangerie is about 300 meters further on, on the right.
