This makes it an excellent choice for an overnight stay or a vacation in the stunning Loire region. From here, you can easily explore the magnificent chateaux, historic towns, abbeys, wine fields, and much more.
If you are traveling by car from the Channel Ports, the journey from Calais or Boulogne typically takes around 4.5 hours. However, opting for a ferry crossing to one of the southern French ports such as Le Havre, Cherbourg, Caen, or St. Malo can reduce your driving time upon arrival in France, although the crossing times will be longer.
