Welcome to our romantic cottage, located on the Dutch/Belgian border, just 2 km from the charming village of Philippine, renowned for its exquisite restaurants. We are also conveniently situated 3 km from Assenede, one of the oldest villages in Flanders.

Our cottage can accommodate a maximum of 6 to 7 people and boasts three double bedrooms on the first floor. One bedroom features a king-size bed, while the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. If needed, we can also provide a free cot for your convenience. Additionally, there is a beautifully designed bathroom and toilet for your comfort.

On the ground level, you will find a welcoming hall, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room complete with a fireplace, HD TV, DVD player, and WiFi internet. A separate dining room offers panoramic views of the garden, surrounding fields, and pasture land. Outside, you can enjoy the garden and relax on the various south-facing sun terraces, complete with a BBQ for al fresco dining.

We provide free bicycles for our guests to explore the area, which offers a wide range of activities including tennis, golf, sailing, surfing, swimming in both indoor and outdoor pools, fishing, cycling, hiking, kayaking, and even indoor skiing.

The region is perfect for cycling, walking, fishing, and relaxation, as well as exploring the historical towns of Ghent and Hulst (17 km away), Bruges, Antwerp, Damme, Middelburg, Goes, and Veere (all within 35 km). The Belgian/Dutch North Sea Coast with its charming seaside resorts such as Breskens, Cadzand, Knokke, and Vlissingen is only a 20-minute drive away.

For your convenience, the cottage is located within easy reach of several airports: Brussels Zaventem airport is 90 km away, Brussels South/Charleroi airport is 135 km away, and Lille/Lesquin airport in France is 110 km away. The Calais Eurotunnel is 170 km away, and Dunkerque Ferry Port is 125 km away.
