Welcome to our unique self-catering holiday house located in the beautiful rural Limousin region of central France, also known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes. With the capacity to accommodate up to 14 people, this house has been completely renovated and furnished to a high standard, offering something truly special to our guests.Step inside and you will be captivated by the contemporary and uncluttered feel of the interior. The tastefully furnished house features original details and stunning wood flooring throughout. Choose from six lovely bedrooms, five of which have private shower/bathrooms. Additionally, one of the ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms is wheelchair accessible. The house also boasts a private garden and dining terrace with breathtaking views of the open countryside and meadows adorned with beautiful buttercups.
We are conveniently located in the picturesque village of St Germain les Belles, just 30 minutes south of the vibrant city of Limoges. In the village, you will find charming local shops, restaurants, historic buildings, and winding lanes that lead to a family-friendly swimming lake, complete with a bar and restaurant. Limousin has been dubbed the "French Lake District" and offers some of the most unspoilt and natural landscapes in France. Explore the numerous lakes and enjoy leisurely walks through rolling hills and forests, immersing yourself in the slow pace of life and authentic rural French culture.
Our previous guests have had truly memorable experiences at our superb cottage. One family of 14 members raved about the village's amenities, including a bar, two bakeries, a general store, post office, and cash machine, while also appreciating the feeling of being in the middle of the countryside when in the garden. Another guest described the cottage as extremely well-equipped, clean, and spacious, making it the best accommodation they have had for a family holiday. Our location is in the village of St - Germain Les Belles (Haute -Vienne), which is situated 4 hours south of Paris (425 km) and only 30 minutes south of Limoges, the capital of Limousin (35 km). Accessing the village is convenient as it is just a 10-minute drive from the A20 motorway (exit 42), the primary highway linking Paris to the south of France.
