Welcome to "La Colline," where Tom and Johanna are excited to have you as their guests. Situated just 2km away from the medieval center of Sarlat-La-Canéda, we provide five comfortable guest rooms, a gîte, and table d'hôtes.Our rooms are beautifully appointed, each with its own bathroom, shower, and toilet. Free WIFI is available for your convenience. You can choose between a queen-size bed or twin beds to ensure your comfort. Every morning between 8 and 10 o'clock, we serve a generous breakfast consisting of pastries, baguettes, jams, orange juice, yogurt, and cereals. Breakfast is included in the B&B price. All of our rooms are non-smoking, and air conditioning is available upon request. We also offer table d'hôtes upon request.
All of our rooms overlook our lovely garden, providing the perfect setting for a picnic, reading a good book, or relaxing after exploring Sarlat or engaging in one of the many activities offered in the Périgord Noir region.
When it comes to taste, we serve a delicious and varied breakfast every morning between 8 and 10 o'clock. Pastries, baguettes, jams, orange juice, yogurt, and cereals are just some of the options available. Breakfast is included in the B&B price.
Situated on a sunny slope on the outskirts of Sarlat-La-Canéda, La Colline is the ideal starting point for exploring the Dordogne region. A short walk of 2km will take you to the center of Sarlat, a city renowned worldwide for its restored medieval architecture and rich history. Sarlat is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and culinary specialties.
In our opinion, exploring the local markets is a must-do activity in this region. Surrounding the area, you will find numerous prehistoric sites and painted caves, including fifteen UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the famous Lascaux cave. The Périgord region also invites you to discover ten of the "most beautiful villages of France," each offering its own charm with castles, abbeys, churches, and picturesque alleyways.
If you're willing to venture a little further, the sacred city of Rocamadour, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is only 50km away and definitely worth the hour-long drive.
Throughout the year, the region hosts various events and sports activities for your enjoyment. The nearby Tamniès pond, just 10 minutes away, offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, paddle boating, and tennis.
Of course, if you prefer to unwind, our garden provides a tranquil space where you can soak up the sun, indulge in a good book, or savor a glass of wine.

Welcome to La Colline, a charming ground floor apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people. Perfect for families with children, this apartment is the ideal choice for those seeking a pleasant holiday near Sarlat.With a large parking area and located just 2 km from the historic center of Sarlat, you can easily explore this beautiful city on foot without worrying about parking.
The apartment features a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and a TV, as well as a bedroom with bunk beds. It also includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a kitchen/dining room. You can also enjoy a partially covered terrace facing southwest, complete with comfortable furniture to fully relax and enjoy the surroundings.
We provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including sheets, towels, water, electricity, heating, and free WIFI. If needed, we can also provide an air conditioner for an additional fee of 5€ per day. Please note that there is a mandatory cleaning fee of 50 euros at the end of your stay. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
At La Colline, we also offer a delicious breakfast option for an additional fee of 7€ per person. You can enjoy freshly baked croissants, pastries, and baguettes right at the cottage. In the evening, upon request, we offer a table d'hôtes, providing a delightful dining experience.
