Sauveterre de Guyenne is located in the beautiful hilly territory of between-two-seas, which is renowned for its stunning architectural wonders. It is worth visiting for its ancient villages, bastides, caves, Romanesque churches, vineyards, wells, laundries, a lake with supervised swimming, and fortified mills. Furthermore, the Roger Lapebie bike path offers 45km of greenway (an old railway line) that can take you to Bordeaux or Toulouse.
Conveniently, all essential amenities are within walking distance, including a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, shops, and a market that takes place on Tuesday mornings.
