Description for B&B:
The Château de Jonquières presents an authentic and extraordinary setting, offering four charming guestrooms. The Mediterranean-inspired garden spans across 2 hectares and features various southern trees such as platanes, buis plaqueminiers, micocouliers, lauriers, chênes blancs, and oliviers. The garden also boasts a natural spring and a small bamboo forest, adding a touch of enchantment. At the far end of the garden, there is a "bassin de baignade," an ancient irrigation pond measuring 12 meters by 12 meters, which we have tastefully transformed while preserving its original character. To provide essential shade, there are laurel trees and a maronnier. On the first/ground floor, there is a summer living room that remains pleasantly cool during hot summer days, complete with a billiard table. Accessible through a separate entrance on the second floor, you will find a cozy reading room, a spacious dining room, and a "playroom" tower for those who enjoy bridge, scrabble, and puzzles. All the bedrooms, located on the third floor, offer stunning views of the garden. Additionally, a loggia overlooking the courtyard allows you to indulge in the picturesque rooftops of Jonquières village.
