Description for B&B:

Welcome to our guest house nestled among the olive trees, complete with a refreshing pool in Balagne.

If you desire to explore Balagne while being in close proximity to Calvi and the red island, Calenzana is the perfect compromise. Just a 15-minute drive from Calvi and 25 minutes from Ile Rousse, you can easily wander the charming streets of Calvi and its citadel, bask in the sun on the beautiful beaches of Calvi Bay (only 10 minutes away), or venture a few kilometers to discover the paradisiacal white sandy beaches with turquoise waters like Ghjunchitu, Bodri, Ostriconi, and Lozari near the red island.

However, if you prefer peace and tranquility, our property offers a serene atmosphere for relaxation by the pool or on your private terrace.

We are pleased to provide you with two spacious double rooms, each measuring 30 m2, with an ensuite bathroom and toilet. These rooms can accommodate up to three people and are equipped with a king-size bed (180/200), a single convertible bed, a large flat-screen TV, and WiFi. Additionally, each room has a 15 m2 terrace with private garden furniture.

A dedicated area is reserved for our guests, featuring a cozy lounge, board games, a foosball table, a dining table, and a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Outdoor activities include a petanque court, swing, and slide. The pool is equipped with a security system, complete with an audible alarm and gate for access.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast served under the Pergolat, overlooking the nearby villages and mountains. Our breakfast includes homemade pastries, local products, fresh fruit, and Corsican deli meats. In case of inclement weather, breakfast will be served in the Pool House. Throughout the day, you are welcome to use the Pool House to prepare your own coffee or tea.

Calenzana is not only known as the starting point for the GR 20 long-distance trail through Corsica and Mare e Monti, but also for its rich heritage and history. Explore the village with its church and bell tower, and learn about the 500 German soldiers buried beneath the steeple in the main square. Don't miss the Chapel of the Holy Restitude, where a sarcophagus from the 4th century was discovered beneath the altar in 1951. You will also be in close proximity to picturesque villages like Montemaggiore and SantAntonino, both classified as the most beautiful villages in France. And make sure to visit the ghost village of Oporto for its breathtaking view of the entire bay of Calvi and the marina of Sant Ambrogio, accessible by a small path from the village of Lumio.

Our privileged location also grants you access to a variety of activities that our region offers, including water sports, diving, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, 4x4 adventures, quad biking, and boat trips.

We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring that your stay with us is unforgettable.
