Directions
To reach Vézelay from Avallon via RN6 or A6 (Paris Lyon), follow these travel directions:
1. Take Outway n°22 Avallon exit from RN6 or A6 (Paris Lyon).
2. Drive through Avallon, following RN6 in the direction of Vézelay and Auxerre.
3. As you exit Avallon, you will come across a roundabout. Leave RN6 at this roundabout and take the road towards Vézelay and Pontaubert.
4. In Pontaubert, continue straight through the village until you reach its end.
5. At the end of the village, turn left (south) towards Menades and Island.
6. As you drive on this road, you will notice the castle surrounding the road on your left, just before reaching the village of Island.
