Welcome to Simply Canvas, where you have discovered a wonderful glamping and cottage experience in the stunning countryside near Bergerac in Southwest France. Our booking season for 2017 is now open.Experience the ultimate in glamping with our 6 safari tents, each featuring their own bathroom and comfortable boxspring beds. Camping has never been so luxurious! Alternatively, choose from one of our three self-catering cottages or gites, with one being so spacious you may never want to leave. Nestled on our 12.5 acre property, you can enjoy breathtaking views and make a splash in our large enclosed swimming pool. Located on the border of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne departments in the Aquitaine region, we are conveniently close to Bergerac. Our region is often compared to the Tuscany of France, with its rolling hills, sunflower fields, wine chateaus, rivers, charming villages, scenic walks, and magnificent castles.
Amidst this natural beauty, we warmly invite you to enjoy a delightful holiday with your family, make new friends for the children, embark on lovely outings, and join us for our famous delicious dinners filled with local goodness, including vegetables from our own garden. Engage in pleasant conversations around the dining table as you savor the flavors of our beloved region.

Welcome to the charming Stone B&B Cottage at Simply Canvas in SW France. This idyllic retreat is constructed using beautiful local stones and adorned with delightful natural touches. The cottage features a lovely living room and a small kitchen. Upstairs, a mezzanine hosts a cozy double bedroom and a small sitting area. Downstairs, there is an additional bedroom for two children, as well as a spacious shower room and toilet.At Simply Canvas, we offer glamping, B&B, and cottages/gites, all complemented by an enclosed swimming pool and permaculture garden, surrounded by picturesque countryside views.
Prices (excluding July and August):
- 2 persons: €90 per night or €550 per week, including breakfast (minimum stay of 2 nights, any arrival day)
- 2-4 persons: €110 per night (3 people) or €130 per night (4 people), or €650 per week, including breakfast (minimum stay of 2 nights, any arrival day)
- Additional 5th person: €50 per week
Prices (July and August):
- 2-4 persons: €925 per week, including breakfast (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)
- Additional 5th person: €50 per week
Please note that there is a cleaning fee of €50 at the end of your stay. We look forward to providing you with a memorable experience at the Stone B&B Cottage.

Take the ring road towards Périgueux/Libourne and enter the highway (toll) just before Libourne. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After about 5Kms, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 220m until you reach the white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.
From Brive la Gaillarde:
Take the highway towards Bordeaux/Bergerac. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After about 5Kms, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 200m until you reach the white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.
