The Domaine de Pradaous, previously known as the "Relais de la Garde de Dieu," is a historic XVIIth century stage coach situated on the ancient Roman road, via Domitia, which connected Italy to Spain. This renowned establishment welcomed notable guests such as the esteemed French writer Stendhal, who mentioned his visit in his journal, "Oeuvre Intimes," in 1806.Recently renovated in 2016, this delightful bed and breakfast seamlessly combines traditional architecture with contemporary interior design and an art collection. Its four spacious bedrooms, three of which can accommodate up to four guests, are flooded with natural light and offer modern comforts through their generously-sized bathrooms. Outside, a large terrace and heated pool provide a stunning view of the picturesque village of Reillanne, perched on the nearby hill.
No trip to Provence would be complete without indulging in its renowned cuisine. At the Domaine de Pradaous restaurant, you can savor authentic and delectable Provençal dishes, prepared by your host Sheila, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Sheila's culinary creations are inspired by the seasons and the finest local produce found at nearby markets.
