Situated in a charming hamlet in the heart of the Combrailles region, our fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment offers a delightful retreat near Saint Gervais d'Auvergne. Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes that surround us and recharge your batteries in this idyllic setting. Classified as a three-star accommodation by Thermauvergne, our apartment also offers special packages for thermal cures.Featuring stone walls and solid wood furniture, our apartment provides a warm and cozy atmosphere for your stay. Although attached to our house, it offers complete independence and can comfortably accommodate 2 people (and possibly 1 infant). The open kitchen is equipped with a table and 3 chairs, an oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and all necessary kitchenware. The bedroom is furnished with a 140-sized bed and a corner sofa, complete with a television and internet ADSL access.
The kitchenette seamlessly blends into the bedroom/living room area, creating a studio-like space. A closet and a bathroom with a spacious shower, washbasin, and toilet are also included, along with a storage cabinet. Upon request, we can provide an umbrella bed, a chair, and a high chair. St Gervais d'Auvergne, just 2.5 kilometers away, offers a range of shops, restaurants, and services. Linen rental is also available.
Outside, you can enjoy a furnished terrace with a table, chairs, deck chairs, parasol, and barbecue facilities, as well as access to a large plot of land. Please note that our gîte is strictly non-smoking and does not allow pets. For more information, feel free to contact us. Payments can be made by check or cash, and a deposit of 20% of the rental price is required upon booking. Additionally, a security deposit of 350 will be requested upon receiving the keys and will be refunded after the departure inventory.
During the summer months, there are numerous tourist activities to enjoy in the area. Swimming is possible at Philippe Pond in Saint Gervais d'Auvergne. Nearby attractions include the Gorges de la Sioule, Meander of Queuille, Museum of the Resistance, Manor of Veygoux, Volvic, Riom, Montluçon, Vulcania, Clermont-Ferrand, Vichy, and the chain of Puys. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to GR hiking trails, climbing sites, canoeing opportunities, horseback riding, and fishing spots. For those seeking relaxation, the thermal resorts of Châteauneuf les Bains (10 kilometers) and Néris les Bains (40 kilometers) are within reach.
