Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience a warm and inviting stay at Dagmar's Presbytery, a charming home away from home. Nestled within the historic walls of an ancient parish house, built during the early 16th century, this unique accommodation offers a truly memorable experience.

As you pass through the iron gate, you will be greeted by a picturesque courtyard adorned with a vibrant garden. The red and purple climbing roses add a touch of elegance to the ancient walls and two towers, constructed with traditional Brittany-style rubble stone.

Inside these time-honored walls, you will find respite from the summer heat and comfort during chilly winter days. The guest rooms, located on the second or third floor, provide stunning views of the garden and lush meadows of Brittany.

Indulge in a cozy breakfast in the dining room, where a majestic chimney invites you to savor your meal by a warm fire. Our homemade bread and garden-fresh jams offer a taste of authenticity, accompanied by eggs prepared to your liking from our own poultry. Sip on a cup of traditional French coffee or tea, and for a truly immersive experience, you can pre-order a delightful Breton dinner prepared by Dagmar herself (starting from 18€/p).

Step into the authentic living room, dating back to the 16th century, where comfortable sofas and armchairs await you. Curl up with a book in front of the marble chimney or indulge in an afternoon tea, whiskey, or glass of Champagne (additional charges apply).

Just a short 10-minute drive away, you will discover the renowned Golf Course 'Rochers Sevigne', named after the famous epistler Mme de Sevigne. Adjacent to the course, her beautiful castle provides a glimpse into the 17th-century and the rich history of Louis XIV's court. In contrast, the medieval fortress of Vitré showcases the significant role it played from the 15th to the 17th century, leaving visitors in awe of its historical importance.
