The island of Désirade, located off Guadeloupe, is approximately a 30-minute boat ride away from St. Francis. The Blue House, situated in Baie-Mahault, is the last village before reaching the port for boats to the island. Spanning 12 kilometers in length and 2 kilometers in width, the island has only one road on the mountain side that slopes gently towards the sea, while the other side is steep. Désirade is a tranquil haven, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the world, characterized by its peacefulness and charming inhabitants. The constant trade winds provide a refreshing breeze, bringing a sense of coolness to the house. The house itself is surrounded by a fully blooming garden and is located 400 meters from the beach, which is protected by a 300-meter coral reef. The sandy bottom of the water creates a calm pool-like area spanning approximately 15,000 square meters.
