Welcome to our guest house for rent in Charente Maritime, near the beautiful city of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.

Our independent guesthouse offers a high level of comfort and is located within a closed property surrounded by trees, with a large swimming pool.

The spacious living room is well-exposed and features a cozy lounge area with a TV and a fireplace, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room opens up to a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, complete with sunbathing armchairs.

The guesthouse can accommodate up to four people and offers two bedrooms (one with a 140cm bed and the other with two 90cm beds), a bathroom, and separate toilets.

Located in the small village of Poléon, part of the Saint Georges du Bois commune, our guesthouse is conveniently situated near Surgères, which has a TGV train station and all necessary amenities. Paris is approximately 400 km away via the toll road, and La Rochelle and Rochefort are both within 30 km.

Poléon is also at the border of the famous "Green Venise," a part of the Marais-Poitevin known for its natural beauty. Additionally, the charming Island of Ré is just a 30-minute drive away, offering picturesque harbors and fine sandy beaches.

During your stay, you can enjoy various activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. On-site, you can swim in our 12m x 6m swimming pool, play ping-pong, petanque, and engage in other outdoor activities. You can also take short trips by foot or bicycle in the Aunis county or enjoy tennis and horse riding in Saint Georges du Bois.

In the neighborhood, you can visit the Venise Verte and explore it by boat, canoe, or bike. The nearby beaches offer a range of activities such as sailing, surfing, and funboarding. There are also options for bowling, fishing, karting, and playing golf on an 18-hole course.

For day trips, you can explore the islands of Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron by car, or take a boat trip to Île d'Aix and see the famous fort Boyard. The cities of La Rochelle, Rochefort, and Chatelaillon are also worth visiting for their historical and cultural attractions, including old city areas, harbors, aquariums, fortifications, and more.

Additionally, the Aunis county and the neighboring Saintonge county offer numerous other historical and cultural sites for you to explore.

We hope you have a wonderful stay in our guest house and enjoy all that Charente Maritime has to offer!
