Welcome to the charming old forge in the center of town, lovingly restored by Cathy and Laurent. They invite you to stay in their guest rooms, which can accommodate up to 7 people. Each room is equipped with showers, private toilets, and closed parking for your convenience.Situated in the heart of the historic Normandy landing sites of June 6, 1944, the property is just 35 km away from Sainte Mère Eglise and Utah Beach, and only 8 km away from Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer.
From here, you can easily explore the significant landmarks of the British and Canadian landing beaches through the beautiful town of Bayeux. Port-en-Bessin, Arromanches with its artificial port, Courseulles, and Ouistreham are all within reach.
If you're interested in delving deeper into the history of the landings, Lawrence, who has a passion for this period, will gladly answer any questions you may have. And in the morning, Cathy will serve you a delightful breakfast between 8 am and 9:30 am, providing you with the energy to explore the nearby woods and marshes.
