Description for B&B:
La Tourelle B&B is located in the charming village of Colombotte, in the Haute-Saône region of northeastern France. Situated between the Vosges and Jura regions, it is approximately 590 km from Calais. Our B&B overlooks the picturesque village of Colombotte and offers comfortable accommodation in a beautifully renovated farmhouse. The original farmhouse features cozy and well-appointed rooms, while the spacious barn offers slightly simpler accommodations. Guests can also enjoy our large common room, which features a long dining table for shared meals.
Adjacent to our property is a small rural camping area, and to the left of the farmhouse is A-Côté, a studio that can accommodate up to four guests. Les Hiboux (The Owls) is another rental accommodation located across the road, with its own entrance, parking, and a lovely garden, making it ideal for families or small groups.
La Tourelle is owned and operated by Mirjam and Tim, who left the Netherlands in 2001 to embark on a new life in Colombotte. They purchased the ancient farmhouse, which had been unused for 40 years, and with the help of family, friends, and local craftsmen, transformed it into a charming Chambres d'Hôtes, or B&B. In addition to a continental breakfast, Mirjam and Tim also offer an exquisite dinner experience at their Table d'Hôtes, where guests can dine together and enjoy the company of their hosts and fellow travelers.
The surroundings of Colombotte are known for their natural beauty, earning the region the nickname "The Green Island." The fields and forests offer a variety of shades of green, creating a stunning backdrop for outdoor activities. Guests staying at La Tourelle can take advantage of the region's many recreational opportunities, such as golfing, horseback riding, paragliding, parachute jumping, and even cave diving.
For those seeking relaxation, La Tourelle provides a peaceful and serene environment, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy the surrounding nature and tranquility.
