Let us tell you the story of Gorodka: Once upon a time, there was a place called Gorodka, a name that exists beyond any specific location. It was a 2-hectare land of untouched forest, cleared and transformed into a geo-artistic concept by the hands of hardworking individuals. This place became a haven for artists and curious travelers, attracting attention from the media.
In the center of it all was Shasmoukine Pierre, a multi-talented artist, painter, poet, writer, and self-proclaimed trans-social man. His 500 works capture inspiration, nature, madness, humor, love, strangeness, transgression, and harmony, all waiting to be discovered here.

Description for Gite
The "White Cottage" is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of Gorodka, surrounded by lush woods. This cozy cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 to 6 people. The sleeping arrangements include a mezzanine room with space for 3 people, complete with a large screen TV. The cottage also features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for 4 to 6 people, a fireplace, and a bright living room with a cozy veranda and a bench that can also be used as a single bed. The cottage offers a shower and separate toilet facilities. For families with teenagers, there is a small annex room with 2 single beds, perfect for providing some privacy.The guest rooms in the cottage are designed with a minimalist yet authentic style, showcasing original works of art. Each room is equipped with a comfortable double bed, and although the toilet and bathroom are separate, they are conveniently located nearby. Guests can choose to have breakfast in the communal dining room, where we offer a delicious breakfast for 5 euros per person. Bed sheets are provided, but please remember to bring your own towels (or they can be rented for an additional 5 euros).
For a unique experience, you can stay in the artist's studio, where you will be surrounded by original artworks. The spacious studio can accommodate up to 3 people and includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, and dishes for private meals. The studio has its own bathroom and toilet facilities. Meals can be enjoyed in the communal dining room, at an outside table, or in the picnic area with a barbecue available for use. Breakfast can be prepared and enjoyed in the studio for an additional 5 euros per person. Bed sheets are provided, but please remember to bring your own towels (or they can be rented for an additional 5 euros).

To reach Gorodka, travel 4 km from Sarlat towards the south exit in the direction of Cahors. Once you reach the roundabout near the tobacco barn, follow the municipal signs that indicate Gorodka or Caneda.
