Description for B&B:
The Segau is a Gascon farmhouse constructed entirely of stone during the late 18th century. It served as a significant operation back then, spanning over 100 hectares and accommodating multiple family groups. The farmer resided in the eastern portion of the building, while 4-5 sharecroppers occupied the western part with their families. In this section, we have transformed it into five guest rooms. At present, our farming activities cover an area of 53 hectares surrounding the farmhouse. We adhere to organic farming practices and are situated alongside the "Osse" river. Our primary produce includes cereals such as wheat, soybeans, lentils, and beans. Nestled in the heart of Ténarèze, our location offers a picturesque hilly landscape with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.
Our aim in restoring this house was to preserve its original essence while paying utmost respect to its historical character. The choice of materials and the restoration techniques used, such as stone walls and whitewashing, reflect the construction methods of that era. Additionally, we provide facilities such as ten horse boxes and motorcycle storage.
