Originally constructed in 1680, this farmhouse provides a unique and exceptional catered chalet experience. La Ferme du Chateau seamlessly combines traditional charm with modern comforts. Located in the heart of the picturesque farming village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, the chalet offers convenient access to various activities, as well as nearby bars, shops, and restaurants.

Our 5-star quality accommodation is surprisingly affordable. La Ferme du Chateau features six en-suite bedrooms, each offering the option of twin or king-size double beds. Most rooms can accommodate additional beds without sacrificing comfort, allowing for a maximum capacity of 18 guests. The bedrooms are meticulously furnished with luxurious amenities, including 5-star hotel-quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, and iPod docking stations. Furthermore, all guests have access to a south-facing balcony, with one bedroom boasting its own private balcony. To enhance relaxation, a sunken hot tub is available on the lower balcony, providing the perfect indulgence after a day of activities.

The living and dining area is exceptionally spacious, featuring a central wood-clad open fire. With six large sofas, a TV area on the minstrel gallery, a cozy reading snug, and a separate south-facing balcony, this living area offers ample space to unwind and enjoy a pre-dinner drink or two.

At La Ferme du Chateau, we believe that excellent food and wine are essential to your experience. Our catered winter package includes a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea daily, as well as a delectable 4-course evening meal with wine provided on six nights. On one evening, we encourage guests to explore local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to sample the region's culinary delights. Additionally, we offer an early children's supper option.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service as an owner-run chalet. From the moment you arrive at Geneva, we take care of every aspect of your holiday. Ski hire will be ready for you upon arrival, ski passes and refreshments will be awaiting you at the chalet, and we provide daily transportation to and from the slopes. We can also arrange transport to various après-ski bars, organize trips to the thermal center, and assist with ski lessons, among other services.

We offer flexibility in our offerings. During the winter season, the farmhouse is available on a catered basis for holidays and breaks lasting three or more days. In the summer, guests can choose between self-catered, bed and breakfast, or half-board options, which include breakfast, afternoon tea, and a three-course evening meal with wine.

La Ferme du Chateau is also an ideal venue for special events, including weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings such as management training courses, senior management meetings, and team-building exercises.
