The house is situated in Godewaersvelde, a charming village in the heart of the Monts de Flandres and just a few kilometers from the Belgian border. With its convenient location, Godewaersvelde is easily accessible and only 30 minutes away from Lille and the Opal Coast, as well as 10 km from Poperinge. This historical house, dating back to 1870, is located in the center of the village and offers a delightful setting for both business and leisure stays in the region. On the first floor of the owner's house, there are three spacious and comfortable boutique guest rooms. The Sweet Duplex Room (35m2) features a living room with a sofa bed (140/200) and a bed (160/200), a bathroom with a shower (120/90) and a basin, as well as a separate toilet. The Garden of Dreams Room (approximately 25m2) includes a bed (160/200), a futon sofa, a bathroom with a corner bath and a basin, and a separate toilet. Both rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The third bedroom (25m2) consists of a double bed, a private shower room, and a separate WC. On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a cozy living room with a selection of books and brochures, as well as a veranda with various games. Meals are available upon reservation. The property also features a beautiful enclosed garden of 1900 m² and a closed area for bicycles. A garden lounge is provided for guests to relax. Nearby attractions include Belgium (7 km), Cassel (15 km), Ypres (22 km) with its Flanders Fields Museum and Last Post ceremony, Bray-Dunes (38 km), Lille and Saint-Omer (40 km), Malo-les-Bains (46 km), and the Louvre-Lens (58 km). From Dunkerque, take the A25 / E42 and exit at Steenvoorde / Poperinge (Exit 13). Follow the signs for Poperinge. At the first roundabout, go around and take the last exit. At the second roundabout, continue straight. At the third roundabout, take the first right towards Godewaersvelde. Keep going for approximately 3 km until you reach the village center. The house will be about 500 meters after the entrance sign, on your right. Look for a panel affixed to the fence of the house indicating "France Bed" to guide you.
If coming from Lille, take the A25 / E42 and exit at Bailleul center / Méteren (Exit 12). Turn right and enter Méteren. Then, take the first left onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for about 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Continue straight and you will find the house on your left. Look for the "France Bed" panel affixed to the fence of the house for guidance.
From Bailleul, take the Méteren direction. In Méteren, turn right onto Rue des 4 Aymon son (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for approximately 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Continue straight and you will find the house on your left. Look for the "France Bed" panel affixed to the fence of the house for guidance.
