Located between the Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais/Beaujolais, you'll be in close proximity to the famous Hospices de Beaune, Meursault, Volnay, POMMARD, RULLY, SANTENAY, MERCUREY, GIVRY, BUXY, CHARDONNAY, LUGNY, VIRE, FUISSE, and many more. We provide a tourist map and recommendations to help you explore these renowned wine regions.

If you enjoy fishing, we have access to the Saône and Grosne rivers, the Grison, the Seille, and various ponds. For those who prefer swimming, the Lakes of LAIVES are just 8 minutes away, offering a beautiful beach, paddle boats, and games.

Hiking enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice with 33 trails and the opportunity to explore the GROSNE + SAONE between the GR 76 and the Paths Moines. Additionally, you can enjoy the bucolic GREENWAY that winds through castles, forests, and groves, or opt for the ROUTE BLUE along the Saône, perfect for walkers, mountain bikers, and skaters. We provide mountain bikes, children's bikes, and trailers for your convenience.

Immerse yourself in the rich history of the region with tours of castles, Romanesque churches, and abbeys. Discover the charm of small villages with their typical Burgundian wash houses, fountains, and water mills. Take a boat ride along the Saone and SEILLE rivers, or explore the local flea markets, markets of local producers, hostels, farms, and restaurants offering delicious Burgundian specialties.

If you're traveling with children, Chalon sur Saone offers a wave pool with games, sauna, and hammam, as well as a bowling alley, wildlife and botanical park, and a variety of restaurants. Just 8 km away, Tournus awaits with its rich history, abbey, ancient streets, and the beginning of the Way Blue along the Saône. Don't miss CUISERY, known as the books Village, with its numerous bookshops, libraries, and the EDEN Biodiversity Centre and planetarium. On Mondays, you can visit LOUHANS for the famous Bresse poultry market. And for a taste of medieval history, visit Cluny with its Abbey National Stud and medieval city.

During your stay at our cottage, you'll have access to ATV bikes for exploring the small forest roads nearby. We also provide a library, games, and tourist documentation for your entertainment. Lastly, don't forget to take a stroll through our fruit orchard, where you can enjoy the fresh produce.

The cottage itself features a large, bright living room with a large screen TV, TNT, and WIFI. The comfortable corner sofa is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and washing machine. The bathroom offers a shower, heated towel rail, and a hairdryer, while there is a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find two cozy bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and an additional single bed. There is also a separate toilet and washbasin. A cot is available upon request.

To reach SENNECEY cottage LE GRAND (located in Saone et Loire), follow these travel directions: It is a 15-minute car ride from CHALON-SUR-SAONE, and only 8 minutes away from Tournus (accessible via motorway exits A6 Chalon Sud and Tournus). It takes approximately 30 minutes from Macon, 1 hour from Lyon, and 3 and a half hours from Paris.
