Description for B&B:
Our house is situated just beyond the village center, a few hundred yards away. It sits at an altitude of 3,937 ft and faces south, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the volcanic cones of the Velay, known as "Sucs." Each day, the view captivates with its ever-changing diversity. The road leading to our house ends directly behind it, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere with no through traffic. This guarantees both your relaxation and the safety of any children playing.Adjacent to the house, there are expansive meadows, while behind it, the impressive Suc of Raucoule rises. In the summer, it serves as a scenic viewpoint, and during winter, it shields us from the cold storms that blow in from the North.
Our accommodations consist of four guest rooms, designed as small apartments. Each room can accommodate 2 to 4 individuals, and they can be connected to create more space for larger families or groups.
Outside, we offer various recreational activities for your enjoyment. A natural playground for children and a swimming pool are located in front of the house. Alternatively, you can simply unwind in the heated whirlpool, which provides a truly invigorating experience, especially during the winter months. Additionally, you can relax on the small green area and take in the splendid views of the Velay.
The unique volcanic landscape of the Velay beckons you to explore through hiking, mountain biking, and paragliding. For water sports enthusiasts, the rivers and lakes in the area offer numerous activities. Art and culture lovers will find Le Puy-en-Velay and other nearby towns particularly appealing. In winter, you can also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing to discover the region's beauty. The Meygal ski hut, which offers equipment rentals, is conveniently located just 1.2 miles away from LeFRITZ.
